Why iRest?

Integrative Rest or iRest is a practice that is attainable for anyone and everyone. To me, the most important thing to know is that there is no wrong way to do it! Before we dive into what an iRest practice is, let’s start with why we should consider doing it. Some of the iRest benefits include:

What is iRest?

iRest is a meditation practice based on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra and adapted to suit the conditions of modern life. When practiced regularly - a little and often - iRest enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and well-being, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation. During the Healing From The Inside Workshop, I will introduce the 10 Step Practice of iRest as well as dive into why we go through these particular steps.

iRest is not the only approach that will be covered in the Healing From The Inside workshop at Southern Om. I will also address how distinct steps of the iRest practice can be adapted for use on their own! Do not worry if you’ve never had a breath, meditation, or yoga practice. You will walk away with resources as well as hands on experience in multiple approaches to aid in you wellness.
